Water played a major part of every day this Memorial Weekend. Of course Drake's Baptism was the most important use of water, but the rest of the kids found other ways in which water could highlight the trip. A doctor at urgent care instructed us after a LONG wait for Clarissa to stay hydrated as she was sick with sore throat, fever, and vomiting. Water was dripping from our faces as we played at Penguin Park on an extremely humid morning. Later in the afternoon cold water from the neighborhood pool helped the men and kids recover. Today water spraying out of the ground at a fountain we found while shopping was a great surprise to end our weekend. Once the kids started to figure out the timing and patterns of the water spraying they started to run through the fountain trying to stay dry. Evan quickly found out it was more fun to get wet. Kyle and Amelia joined in while Scarlett and Clarissa found it better on the sidelines. Here are a few of the pictures from our trip.
Love the pictures. Looks like you guys had a great time with Scarlett and Drake, and of course all the water.
