Our treehouse is now finished as far as the kids are concerned. You'll notice Clarissa peeking her head out of one of the three windows Grandpa installed (the price of these windows was much cheaper than the price of the windows on our house). Two of the windows are the perfect height for Kyle and Clarissa and the third is fun for the big kids to stand on a stool to see the park behind our house. Kyle brought out binoculars right away and found a little place for them to rest on the wall. The leprechauns are standing by the pulley installed, which makes it fun to move things up and down or to watch Bruce stand on his hind legs trying to get at the bucket. However nothing is as much fun as the fireman pole, which we made Grandpa try out, or the trapdoor at the top of the staircase. With all of these new features neither our kids or the neighbor kids are real concerned about when the shingles or trim work is completed.
