So what have we been up to now that school is out? A lot. We have been sleeping until 8:00 AM, going to the library often to check out stacks of books, and enjoying treats from the farmer's market. Evan is in a summer tennis program, which has got me out on the court again, and waiting for his expander to be placed in his mouth by the orthodontist. Amelia can be found either reading books or outside with the neighbor girls. She is making a nice recovery after severing off part of a fingertip. Clarissa is very interested in cleaning, folding laundry, and cooking in the kitchen. She loves it when it is just the two of us at home so that we can get some work done. Kyle seems to always be talking and must be the one to get the last word in on every subject. Steve is counting down the days until he goes to Lansing to defend his title at his war game convention. The kids liked swimming lessons a lot better last week when it was hot and humid than this week when it is unseasonably cool. We are all tired of picking up leaves and branches from the many storms. And Bruce? He loves playing with his new friend, Gus, at the doggie park.
