Just the beginning...

The jackhammer has taken a break after a few hours of the awful pounding that comes with home improvement.  All the concrete in back is being removed!  We are putting in a new curved sidewalk leading from the house to the garage.  The jackhammer will start again as the two bottom crumbling steps in front will be removed and replaced.  We have also removed the wooden fence in our side yard.  Evan was happy using a four foot crow bar to help pull out the giant metal stakes anchoring the posts.  There is also talk of putting in a very small garden when we till up the jungle area back by the garage.  This sounds like a lot, but we haven't even heard what the landscape guy recommends...
